Olivella®

Green Commitment

Sustainable skincare, made in Italy with 100% ultra-purified virgin olive oil—and a production approach designed to reduce waste and respect natural resources.

  • Clean formulas
  • Safety & quality controls
  • Circular thinking
  • Recycled & recyclable packaging

Our approach to sustainability

At Olivella®, we rely on nature to create the ingredients that cleanse and nourish the skin—and we work to manufacture responsibly. We use extra-filtered, recycled water that comes from the same olive oil refinery production process, drastically reducing the use of external natural resources. Manufacturing our soaps and oils internally helps us control quality and ensure compliance with ISO standards.

We aim for high performance with minimal impact—through formulation choices and more efficient processes.

Clean • Safe • Sustainable

Three pillars guide how we formulate, test, and communicate our products.

CLEAN

We’re passionate about natural skincare and rely on mother nature to provide ingredients that cleanse and nourish the body. We combine these elements through our laboratories and the Istituto Acidi Grassi in Milan.

SAFE

Olivella® products are dermatologically tested in accredited third-party labs. Our chemists follow ISO standards to help ensure formulas are pH balanced and each batch is checked to be free of contamination.

SUSTAINABLE

We view marketing as a tool to educate and build awareness. Our product line reflects how the food industry can use every part of an edible product to create something beneficial for the human body.

Why Olivella is different

The answer is 100% virgin olive oil. Olivella® preserves the natural anti-aging properties and antioxidants (polyphenols) in olive oil by retaining high levels of natural nutrients.

Olivella®

  • Only made with 100% Ultra Purified Virgin Olive Oil.
  • Innovative Patented® Technology to preserve natural anti-aging properties and antioxidants (polyphenols).
  • Three generations of expertise in harvesting and producing olive oils.

Other brands

  • Often made with a limited % of fatty acids.
  • Un-patented technologies.
  • Potentially misleading labels (e.g., “olive oil soap” while palm oil appears first in the ingredient list).

Ingredient transparency

We see our clients as our best brand ambassadors—so we want you to know what’s in our products. We disclose ingredients and apply a careful approach before an ingredient becomes part of an Olivella® formula.

How we screen ingredients

  • Ingredients screening: If there is even a slight chance that an ingredient isn’t safe, we don’t use it.
  • Third-party evaluation: Ingredients are reviewed and evaluated by an independent material research agency for health and environmental concerns.
Tip for customers: If you’re comparing “olive oil” products, always read the full INCI list—ingredient order matters.

Formula choices that support skin & planet

A few examples of how we approach scent, color, and preservation.

Fragrances Tap to expand

Olivella fragrances are designed to be pleasant while considering people, animals, and the environment. Our scents are assessed and tested for irritation and allergies. We aim to use essential oils and fragrances naturally extracted from flowers, herbs, and plants (e.g., lemon, orange, vanilla, verbena, violets).

Color Tap to expand

Our green is fully natural: it comes from the chlorophyll in olives. We do not use additional chemical colorants.

Preservatives Tap to expand

Olivella® products have 99.9% naturally derived ingredients. Olive oil is one of nature’s powerful antioxidants and preservative systems. Components used in Olivella® products are biodegradable, designed to dissolve in water and not accumulate in natural environments.

Landscape representing respect for nature
Respect for nature is part of how we think about products, processes, and materials.

Cruelty-free

Every ingredient used in an Olivella® product is evaluated by an independent research institute, PETA. This helps us be confident in the cruelty-free status and the health and environmental safety focus of Olivella® products.

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is a global animal rights organization focused on reducing animal suffering in areas such as farming, clothing, laboratories, and entertainment.

Packaging & materials

We use materials that don’t harshly impact our planet. Our goal is to use recycled and recyclable materials across items to help reduce overall impact.

Recycled plastic (PCR)

To minimize waste and reduce resource consumption, we recycle plastic from bottles or industrial waste (PCR – Post Consumer Resin), helping divert materials from landfills (e.g., soda bottles).

Renewable materials

We work to reduce the use of non-renewable materials across our product line—from bottling to formulations. Our core bottles are made from 100% recycled plastic.

Packing process

Each bottle, jar, and box follows a thorough process designed with sustainability in mind, considering carbon emissions, energy efficiency, and material choices—plus compact designs to reduce waste.
